Gaining access in and out of the area is not too difficult with a metro bus that runs from Sandton to Randburg hourly, the minivan taxi services in South Africa will get you to almost every destination in any city or town. There is also a Gautrain bus service that operates the same route. This runs from the Sandton Gautrain station.
It is also within close proximity to some well-known and well-established shopping malls in the area such as Cresta Shopping Centre and The Randridge Mall offering easy and quick access to a variety of shops.
Demographic and Industry
Strijdom Park is known for having many businesses in the automotive industry, which is a huge draw card for the suburb. Shops that support this industry offer vehicle parts, panel beating, full services, as well as many car dealers selling used and second hand cars at almost every corner of the area.
The area is also the industrial node for many small to medium sized businesses, such as butcheries, upholsterers, packaging, signage and printing companies, as well as the Geldhof Chocolates Factory Shop.
The resident demographic of Randburg tends to be more affluent than the other parts of the metropolitan, with many owning businesses in the area.

With lower property prices, easy transportation to the west and central Johannesburg and many options for business headquarters, Randburg is stiff competition to it's fancier neighbour, Sandton. It has also been earmarked for redevelopment in an attempt to transform the area into one of the leading financial hubs in the entire Gauteng province, as well as future plans to connect Randburg onto the Gautrain routes.
